Do you provide a fixed quote, or is it an estimate?
A fixed quote, agreed before any work begins. If something changes once we’re into the job, we’ll talk it through with you first, not add it to the bill after.
Do you check the work with me before calling the job finished?
Yes, for larger projects especially, we conduct a thorough review with you before signing off, so anything that’s not quite right gets caught and fixed there and then.
Do you handle full renovations, or just specific carpentry jobs?
Both. Whether it’s a single job like a custom door or a full renovation, we’ll scope it properly and quote clearly from the start.
Can I get a quote without you coming to the property first?
For some jobs, yes, over the phone or via photos. For anything more involved, we’ll need to see it in person to give you an accurate, fixed quote.
How long will the job take?
This depends on the scope, but we’ll always give you a realistic timeframe as part of your quote.
Will I need to be home during the job?
For most work, yes, at least for the initial visit and final handover. We’ll let you know exactly what’s needed when we confirm your booking.
Are you licensed and insured?
